Hey ya'll, I'm Kaitlin

Taking pictures is actually my favorite thing to do. Pictures of moments, smiles, cries, places, sunsets, sunrises, dance moves, forehead kisses, baby smooches, puppy faces- you name it. I'm a born and bred North Carolinian, but moved to Wilmington several years ago and took the leap from landscape photographer to family photographer! By day I'm a pediatric physical therapist, which will always be my first love. So yes, basically I spend my days with families and babies, being silly and trying to get kids to have fun while they work....sort of the perfect segue into family photography, if you ask me. I wish I could explain in words how special it feels to capture the perfect moment (biiiig fan of candids over here) and bring it to its most beautiful version to share with you- but you'll just have to see it for yourself :) To me, something is only worth doing if it brings you joy, and this is simply that- my joy. I want you to leave your session feeling like you just had an hour of fun, laughing with your favorite people and some crazy girl with a camera who just happened to be there to capture it all.

My approach

Step 1: Reach out- just fill out the " contact me" page! I'll send you a questionnaire so you can describe your vision that you'd like me to create for you. If you're looking at the milestone collection, we will choose which sessions you'd like and go over your vision for each of them as they come!

Step 2: Details. We'll lock down timing, dates, contracts, You'll receive a client guide so that you and the entire family is prepared for the session, which also includes suggested textures/colors/patterns for clothing.

Step 3: Vibe check. No matter what type of session, I'll send you a personalized mood board to approve to make sure the vibes are right and we're on the same page!

Step 4: Show up, relax and laugh. We'll have fun, I promise.

Step 5: Receive your digital gallery & smile in awe of your own beauty! (be prepared for bloopers too - full believer that the funniest ones are sometimes the best ones!) Choose how many images you'd like and you're all set!
